이 연구의 목표는 시편의 최종 형태에서 시편 110편의 화자와 청자가 누구인가를 밝히는 것이다. 시편 110편의 거시적 문맥은 시편 2, 72, 89, 101, 110, 132, 144편과 같은 전략적으로 배열된 제왕시들 속에 드러나 있다. 이 문맥의 첫 제왕시로부터 마지막 제왕시에 이르기까지 메시아와 그의 나라에 대한 종말론적 메시지라는 주제의 발전이 존재하고 있다. 시편 110편의 미시적 맥락은 세 개의 다윗 시들(108-110)과 송영시들(111-118)에 드러난다. 세 개의 다윗 시편들은 원수들에 대한 메시아의 종말론적 전쟁의 단계들과 주로 연관되어 있다. 메시아가 시편 110편에서 원수들을 패배시킨 후에 송영시들은 메시아의 종말론적인 전쟁을 지도하신 야훼께 찬가를 올려드린다. 이런 문맥 속에서 시편 110편의 화자는 다윗으로 확인되는데, 왜냐하면 제2성전기(이때 시편의 최종 형태가 형성되었다)에 표제의 `러다비드`는 주로 다윗이 실제로 말하고 있는 것으로 이해되었기 때문이다. 시편 110편의 청자의 확인은 `아도니`와 밀접히 연관되어 있다. 이의 전략적 위치의 관점에서 청자는 메시아를 지칭한다.

The goal of this study is to identify who the speaker and the addressee of Psalm 110 are in the final shape of the Psalter. The macro-context of Psalm 110 is revealed in all the strategically arranged royal psalms such as Pss 2, 72, 89, 101, 110, 132, and 144. There is thematic progress of the eschatological message regarding the Messiah and his kingdom from the first royal psalm to the last royal psalm in its literary context. The micro-context of Psalm 110 is uncovered in the three Davidic psalms (108-110) and the doxological psalms (111-118). The three Davidic psalms are primarily related to the stages of the Messiah`s eschatological war against the enemies. After the Messiah`s defeat of the enemies in Psalm 110, the doxological psalms offer paeans to Yahweh, who directed the Messiah`s eschatological warfare In this literary context, the speaker of Psalm 110 is identified as David because the superscription dwdl in the Second Temple period (in which the final shape of the Psalter was formed) was primarily understood to be David actually speaking. The identification of the addressee of Psalm 110 is closely linked to ynda. In light of its strategic location, the addressee refers to the Messiah.
